1. SubbRoomAssociation “I won’t stop Remixes” (Falkplatz)
Dplay and Mano Le Tough are two producers I am a really, really big fan of. Here they did two remixes for my Falkplatz label. And they really blast me away. Better you cannot produce deep stuff like that. Thanks guys.
Sono davvero un grande grande fan di Ddplay e Mano Le Tough. Hanno fatto questi due remix per la mia label Falkplatz e mi fanno veramente impazzire. Non riesci a fare roba profonda come sanno fare loro. Grazie ragazzi!
2. Marco Shuttle “The Vox Attitude” (Vidd)
This track I play since a few months in every set. Wether it is Berghain or Panorama Bar. This track is a great crossover, fits ALWAYS and is an absolut highlight of each of my sets.
E’ da qualche mese che suono questa track in ogni mio set. Ovunque sia al Berghain o al Panorama Bar. E’ un bel crossover, ci sta bene ovunque ed è un higglight assoluto in ogni mio set.
3. Dj Bone “Himbot” (Subject Detroit)
Well, this is simple, nasty and full of emotions. Perfect track. I wish I had produced it by myself. Here you can see, that you don’t need too many elements to create an atmosphere you really can drown in.
Bene, questa è semplice, cattiva e piena di emozioni. Traccia perfetta. Mi sarebbe piaciuto averla prodotta. Qui puoi capire come non ci sia bisogno di troppi elementi per creare un’atmosfera bella densa in cui ci puoi veramente affogare.
4. In Sync “Storm” (Irdial)
Just discovered this track a few weeks ago when I did a little b2b with XDB. I love dark and emotive stuff and this is something like an example how to create excactly this feeling. Bassline, oldschool drums, mysterious layers. I love it!
Ho scoperto questa traccia giusto qualche settimana fa durante un b2b con XDB. Adoro le robe dark e toccanti e questo è un esempio di come si possono creare queste sensazioni. Bassline, percussioni oldschool, layers misteriosi. Amo questo pezzo!
5. Omar S “Here’s your trance, now dance” (FXHE)
Omar is kinda modern Jean Michel Jarre for me. Sounds strange? His latest melodies just remind me on that Synthiestuff from the 70s/80s. Of course, used in a total different context but with a sense of creating a similar atmosphere. His melodies keep stuck in my head for the rest of the day. This is really catchy stuff but
still with an undergound vibe. pure genius. Trancy.
Omar per me è una specie di Jean Michel Jarre moderno. Suona strano? Le sue ultime melodie mi ricordano quei synth anni 70/80. Ovviamente in un contesto totalmente diverso ma con l’intenzione di creare un’atmosfera simile. Le sue melodie mi restano in testa per tutto il giorno. Questa roba che prende molto ma che ha ancora qualcosa di underground. Genio puro. Trancy.
6. Tazz “World of Techno” (UQ)
This record is again a perfect example for the ‘Atmospere through simplicity’ example. Some few elements perfectly arranged, well known modulated and produced with pressure, voila: crazydriving.
Anche questo è un esempio perfetto di “Atmosfera attraverso la semplicità”. Pochi elementi arrangiati perfettamente, modulati alla perfezione e prodotti con pressione, voile: da far impazzire.
7. Roberto Bosco “Good Lover Ep” (Falkplatz)
For the upcoming release on Falkplatz I chose Italian’s finest Mr. Bosco. Good Lover is a pure housetrack with a strong oldschool touch embedded in a modern soundsignature. For me it’s a great ‘goodvibe track’ that causes a smile on everybodys face. One remix comes from Steffi, and here she proves again, that she is an expert in deepness and adult danceculture. Very happy about this Ep and out soon.
Per la prossima release di Falkplatz ho scelto l’italiano Mr. Bosco. Good Lover è una traccia house pura, con un forte tocco oldschool, incastrata in un sound moderno. Per me è un ottimo pezzo da “buone vibrazioni” che genera un sorriso naturale sulle facce di tutti. Uno dei remix è fatto da Steffi, che dà prova ancora una volta di quanto sia un’esperta nella dance più profonda e adulta. Sono molto soddisfatto di questo Ep che uscirà a breve.
8. Maxim Lany “Cuncambias” (We Play House)
This is a track everytime I play it (and I played it in each of my last sets) minimum one guy or girl comes to ask for the record to write it down. Mixed in the right time of the set this is always one of the outstanding tracks of the night. Hit!
Ogni volta che ho suonato questa traccia (e succede in ogni set ultimamente) almeno un ragazzo o una ragazza è venuta a chiedermi come si chiama per segnarsela. Mixata al momento giusto di un set è sempre uno dei pezzi forti della serata. Bomba!
9. Raudive “Total Pure Ep” (Wires)
Another outstanding Ep of the last months, I think. The production here is so crisp and well done that I can really feel the sounds vibrating my mind. I love the dark and energetic vibe here. One of the biggest Eps in 2010 for me.
Un altro Ep incredibile uscito negli ultimi mesi. La produzione è così frizzante e ben fatta che posso letteralmente sentire il sound che mi vibra nella testa. Adoro il vibe dark ed energico di queste traccie. Dal mio punto di vista uno dei migliori EP del 2010.
10. Gowentgone “Strange Light Remixes” (Vidab)
Last but not least the upcoming Ep on my vidab label. One remix comes from Shed. I am really proud of that, because Shed is an artist I am following since years. He is one of the few producers who always surprises me. He got this special, individual sound that differs him from anybody else. Here he takes some layers and underneathes a breakbeat. Simple and pure, just great. The other remix is a surprise.
Ultimo ma non per questo meno importante il prossimo EP sulla mia label Vidab. Uno dei remix è stato fatto da Shed e ne sono veramente orgoglioso perchè Shed è un artista che seguo da anni. E’ uno dei pochi producer che mi sorprende sempre. Ha questo sound speciale e totalmente personale che lo differenzia da chiunque altro. Qui ha preso dei layer e li ha messi sotto un breakbeat. Semplice e puro, assolutamente grandioso. L’altro remix è invece una sorpresa.
