Ciao a tutti e grazie per l’intervista.
E’ un pò che non ci si vede, raccontaci come hai passato il 2010.
Il mio 2010 è stato abbastanza rough 🙂 sono stato ad Ibiza per quasi l’intera stagione e ho viaggiato in un sacco di bei posti e bei clubs.
Hai suonato in molti club Italiani negli ultimi anni, credi che noi italiani abbiamo aiutato la tua crescita professionale?
Si, sono convinto che anche il pubblico italiano mi abbia aiutato perchè avendo suonato molto in Italia 🙂 Ho trovato degli ottimi amici con i quali sono regolarmente in contatto.
Ti esibisci a volte come dj e a volte live, quale ti da più soddisfazione e perché?
Preferisco i djset perchè sono più lunghi e mi permettono di costruire qualcosa senza limiti di tempo.
Come pensi sia cambiata la Germania in questi anni, superata l’ondata minimal?
E’ diventata più house, più groovy, con più anima. Ma penso che sia cambiata ovunque, non solo in Germania.
Che musica ti piace ascoltare durante il tempo libero?
Dopo la house music mi piace molto ascoltare Sade, Johnny Lee Hooker e quel genere di musica. É molto importante per rilassarsi. Anche Adriano Celentano 🙂 (è un imitatore PERFETTO)
Progetti futuri?
Wow – ci sono un sacco di progetti al momento. Probabilmente avete sentito del mio album “Dejame”, che è uno split in 3 ep’s. Poi produrrò un cd chill house che sarà una selezione di tracce da ascoltare a casa durante un afterhour o qualcosa del genere. Uscirà in cd e in digitale. Il prossimo progetto è la mia compilation per la Get Physical che consiste in remixes che ho fatto di tracce Get Physical che suono spesso. Ho mixato tutte le tracce insieme nel cd, quindi sarà una compilation di remixes solo di tracce della label come lopazz migracion, siopis penny from the lane, delle tracce di audiofly etc. Le tracce sono già pronte, devo solo mixarle. Un altro progetto è una collaborazione fra me e dei miei amici artisti, faremo una o due tracce insieme.

Hey to all and thanks for the interview invitation.
It’s been a long time since we’ve met you, how was your 2010?
Well my year was quite rough 🙂 been in ibza allmost the whole season and been travelling a lot to realy nice spots and clubs.
You’ve been playing in many italian clubs in the last few years, do you think that Italy helped your professional growth?
Yes i’m quite sure that the italian crowd has been a reason as well because I have been playing alot in italy 🙂 I made some really good friends in italy which whom im in contact on a regular basis.
You keep playing djsets and in liveshows, which one of this two live experience do you like better?
Dj cause its longer and i can build something which is not limited on time.
In your opinion, how changed the German club scene after the minimal wave?
It became more house, groovy, with more soul. But in my opinion it changed everywhere – not only in Germany.
Which kind of music do you like most to listen?
Well, after house music i really like to listen to sade, johnny lee hooker and that type of music. It’s really important for comming down and relaxing. Oh and for sure Adriano Celentano 🙂 (He’s a PERFECT imitator)
Tell us about your future projects.
Wow – there is alot moving right now. Maybe you heard about my album dejame – which is split in 3 ep’s. Afterwards i will release a chill house cd which is a selection of tracks you can listen to at home during an afterhour and such. It will be released on CD and digital. The next project is my compilation for get physical consisting of remixes i did from GP tracks that i play often. I mixed all the tracks together on the CD so it will be a remix compilation of just GP tracks like lopazz migracion ,siopis penny from the lane ,some tracks of audiofly etc. The tracks are already done – i just need to mix them. Another project is to make a colaboration with me and many artist friends of mine – we will produce 1 or 2 tracks together.
